Back in the New Mexican Cottage we have two trophy bucks mounted on the walls in the same fashion as you see in the comic. They have round eyes that pierce your soul and were not very pleasant company after nightfall. They are placed near the entryway, which, as I believe, is to frighten potential intruders. They are the guardians of the cottage, much as Cerberus is the guardian of the gates of hell. Which brings us all the way back to three headed mythical beasts.
Thus ends the Chimera story arc. We’ll start something new next week. I could spoil it for you and tell you now, but that would spoil it for me as well.
