We’re now showing up on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
That means three comics a week, which is a reasonable goal. We might add more in the future, but this is the final schedule for now.
Why not MWF, you ask? Because we’re one day lazier here.
We missed this week with updates to the site, but you can expect regular updates of Baneslinger from now on. We’ll be finishing the Chimera arc starting Tuesday. See you all then.
Baneslinger is one year old today. That’s right, I had to renew the registration and everything.
Well, Congrats to us! We’ve got about 160 comics/sketches in the archives, and I’ll expect to have a lot more when we arrive back here next year.
“Never You Mind” now has a dedicated home. It’s old site is still up for now, but I still wanted some place where it would be kept safe from other people’s servers. It’s got a new site, and the same old attitude.
The comic is what originally introduced the characters of baneslinger to the comic world. If you’re here, you’re probably already familiar with my old comic, so I won’t go into great detail. But I will be updating the site with a new (old) comic everyday. For the comics where I’m missing commentary, I’ll be sure to add some new one to keep the site looking good. I might be able to strong arm Laurie into offering her insight as well.
Currently, the site holds the exclusive “last episode” of Never You Mind’s original run. This was a comic that I created near the end of 2007 that never quite made it to the old site.
The new Never You Mind site currently running on ComicPress 2.8, which is more advanced than the version than what baneslinger is currently running with. It gave me a chance to see the benefits of the advances, and I will now go to work on updating this site as well.
I hope that this gives you a reason to look back and revisit the old comic. Many memories are poured into those big white panels.
Well, with a new year, I thought it might be nice to update the “daily sketch” look. So, with a small bit of consideration, here it is. Not all that exciting, I know, but I think this one template will serve us better into the new year. It would be nice to update the site as well, but I don’t see that happening right now.
I’ve also gotten in the mood for a bit of Baneslinger on the old site again. So, as long as I can manage, new daily baneslinger comics. I know, I’m being silly again. But I’ll really give it the old college try.
2010 is upon us!
A new decade! What is in store for our brave adventurers? I truly wonder.
